Bowman’s Feed & Pet inventories a large selection of diets that are grain-free, using human grade ingredients for pets that have food allergies, digestive disorders, and other diet related health issues. We carry products manufactured by Canidae, Wellness, Chicken Soup, Taste of the Wild, Before Grain (B.G.), Merrick, Natural Balance, California Natural, Solid Gold, Innova, Evo, Newman’s Own, and Pinnacle. These diets have fresh ingredients like chicken, lamb, fish (trout, herring, salmon, etc.), venison, and duck, plus no artificial ingredients, preservatives, or coloring.

For “between” meals we offer a great selection of all natural and organic treats to supplement your pet’s regular diet. Raw meat diets by Bravo are available at all times, conveniently packaged and frozen to seal in the nutrition that your pets require. Chicken, beef, turkey, lamb, and venison are available in burgers or frozen meat rolls.

The best in Carroll County, our bird headquarters offers our customers a large variety of suet cakes, nuggets, bird houses bird feeders, feeds, and additional accessories for all bird lovers. We provide bird feed from the following vendors: Morning Song, C&S, Birdola, Wild Delight, Brown’s, Lyric, and Purina.
In addition, we carry birding products from the following: Aspects, Nature’s Way, Droll Yankee, Perky Pet, and Audobon.

Pond and Fish Foods

pondOur pond section provides our customers with ample products to keep ponds and fish happy and healthy. We offer a large variety of fish foods, fish nets, and protective netting. In addition to these products, we supply barley extract, chemicals, and pumps from popular brands, such as, Tetra Pond and Pondmaster, including pond liners from Firestone.

Lawn Fertilizers and Weed Preventers

In our garden fertilizers section we offer all varieties of Espoma fertilizers, in addition to 10-10-10, Pulverized and Pelleted Lime, and Plant Trust. We provide many excellent quality and popular lawn fertilizers brands, such as, Lebanon, Bonide, Preen, Turf Trust, Jonathan Green, Pennington and Espoma. In our pesticide and pest control sections we provide customers with a vast variety of products from Bonide, Round-Up, Ortho, and Bayer. For our animal lovers, we offer many humane traps and repellents to keep critters at bay.

Soils and Grass Seeds

Our Espoma and Hoffman products offer specialty soils for specific plants, such as cactus or African violet soils, in addition to the traditional soil options. We carry several other brands including: Happy Frog and Fox Farm for organic consumers, as well as, Pro Mix and Miracle Gro. We also offer customers our own special blends of grass seed: Bowman’s Deluxe, Super, and Dense Shade, specifically designed to grow in the region. We also offer a Pennington brand and a Vitality brand that is locally made in Maryland. Customers also can purchase the following grass seeds by the pound: Clover, Annual & Perennial Rye, Kentucky 31, and several types of Pasture Mix.
